Last week passed in a blur – dinner with the in-laws on Monday, working late on Tuesday and then loads of deadlines the rest of the week.
Hubby and I drove to Hermanus on Saturday and it was so relaxing. Had breakfast, drove to Stanford for more pictures of the canola fields, back to Hermanus for drinks, took relaxing walks and watched the rugby before a delicious supper.
Came home feeling relaxed and ready to take on this week.
With our chest infections, our gym memberships have been gathering dust. We’ve also been eating badly and then one feels like exercising even less 😦
So today I’ve been drinking loads of water, tracking my steps on a pedometer and we have a squash court booked for this evening. After grocery shopping we have planned a healthy dinner and I look forward to an early night.
Funny how it is always easier to make changes on a Monday? It is like making mini New Year resolutions!
